With graduation just around the corner and a few recent posts by readers here inquiring about the cupcake wrappers, I decided to post new links for downloading these terrific files. All of these particular cupcake wrappers were designed and shared by Judy Keating, a very talented and successful owner of a Klic-N-Kut Maxx. She designs these wrappers in KNK Studio but also has exported the files in both AI and SVG formats. Those of you needing the files in DXF, should be able to use Inkscape (free from Inkscape.org) to open the SVG’s and then save as DXF for your particular software program.
As with ALL cutting files you buy or download for free, test cut them first from inexpensive cardstock. In particular, with the cupcake wrappers, be sure to check the sizing. You may need to increase or decrease to fit the actual cupcakes you make or buy. Many of these designs are quite intricate, so use a clean sticky mat to keep your paper or cardstock firmly pressed down during cutting.
Also note that there is also a link below to download a template/pattern file so that you can add your own words and images to weld to the same base framse used by Judy in her designs. If you would like to share your own design with all of the other readers here or just a photo of your custom wrapper, please send it to me at smccauley45@cox.net

(Big thanks to Judy Keating for sharing her designs and to Gayle Galura-Scott for converting to .Studio for the Silhouette owners!)
Thanks, once again, Judy for your generous contribution to the cutting world! : )
You’re welcome!
Hi there,
Just wanted to thank you so much for the wrapper designs, we dont get so many designs here in South Africa, now I can cut my own. Thanks again, Barbara-Anne
thank you so much! my sister will love this!!! 😀
Thank you so much for sharing, you are really very kind, this looks like a lot of baking, at least I can hide my flops.
I think most of them have the mini version also included. If not then make the mini about 70% as large as the regular and then do a test cut to make sure it fits.
Hi & I wanted to just thank you soo much! These are absolutley adorable! You are soo talented & gracious to give them out! I do have a question though I am new to the cutting world & need to know more about sizing these things. I want them for min cupcakes not standard ones what are the measurements I need to use? Thanks again,Kelley
Thank you for these great cupcake wrappers.
yhank you so much. Greatly appreciated
They are lovely! Thank you very much for sharing!!
You’re welcome, Marion! Good luck with cutting so many! 🙂
I cannot believe your kindness and generosity in sharing these wonderful, wonderful cupcake files. I have been asked to make 150 wrappers for the wedding of a friend’s daughter and was at a loss until I discovered your beautiful patterns.
A million “Thank You’s” Judy and Sandy, I am so very grateful to you both.

Do you own Sure Cuts a Lot or Make the Cut? You’ll need one of those two programs in order to cut to your Cricut and use the SVG files.
Hi- I have never heard of a KnK and am unfamilar with the various formats you mention!!! Help!!! I do have a Cricut, I thought I was up on things, but apparently not (: I just love your cupcake wrappers and would love to learn how to make them.
Can you point me in the right direction to learn what I need to, I would be interested in a video or online class, I am in California, and not near any scrap book store but would love to learn more.
Thanks for any help

You’re welcome! I hope your MIL has a fabulous birthday!
Thank you so much! Today is my MIL’s birthday and the birthday cupcake wrapper will be perfect!
You’re welcome!!! So glad they “rescued you!” : )
I just want to say that you are a life saver. We just did a temp. move to VA and left my AC power cord to my Gypsy back in Tucson and that left me without my cupcake cartridges. My son’s 5th bday is in two days and I was in a panic until I found your site. Thank you, thank you.
Thank you ladies and Sandy for all of your kind comments. I really do enjoy making the files and hope to do more in the near future. Enjoy using them!
I’ll make sure Judy sees your post! She does beautiful designing. : )
I’m amazed at the quality of these wrappers. Thanks so much for the hard work.
You’re welcome! And I hope you have a great Christmas, too!
This is too gorgeous, well done, its it wonderful to have such talent. thank you for sharing. Have a great christmas
Thank you so very much for these awesome cupcake wrappers.
Thanks I got it! So am all set. Thanks again for the great wrappers.
Just as I responded above, I think the best thing you can do is join this new Inkscape forum and they will help you. You are free to share the cupcake SVG files with anyone there who can help you. Here’s the link again to this forum:

Hi, I was just wondering how to break them apart since the friend I am making them for has no use for the minicake ones, just the lareger. They are beautiful.
Can you tell me how to delete the small on in SCAL. I imported the SVG file and then I tried to unlock it and delete the small one, that is where I am stuck!
Thanks for your help
Judy
I don’t support Inkscape, however there’s a wonderful new forum where you can ask some members this question and more!

Hi, where can I read about Inkscape and the tutorials of how to break apart the images, I think I just want the large heart wrapper and not the smaller one too but they are connected and i can’t break them apart in my SCAL program.
Thanks
THank you very much!!!
You can import the AI versions into your software and they will be ready to cut. 🙂
Just wondering if these wonderful cupcake wrappers are available in wpc format. Thanks!!
great that you share these and make them for every occasion. I really like the nurse ones…
You’re welcome… but I’m saying this on behalf of Judy, who creates these adorable files. Be sure to watch for a new one to be posted later this week!
Thanks so much for the cute cupcake files. I truly appreciate your hard work.

The Groove-E and both Maxx machines are great choices. They have the force to cut from any paper or cardstock. They have the speed that’s lacking in some of the other cutters, so you can cut intricate designs more quickly. This is important since I assume you would want to cut multiples at a time. And then the software makes it possible to design most anything you want. Just check out Judy’s incredible designs! : )
The decision then is which model you need and that should mostly be based on your budget plus the dimensions of the materials you plan to use. If you are only cutting from, say, 12 x 12 cardstock, then the 13″ Groove-E will work great. But if you have access to larger sheets of paper or cardstock, then you might prefer the 15″ Maxx or the 24″ Maxx.
You can email me at smccauley45@cox.net if you want to discuss privately.
What machine is best for cupcake wrappers? I would like to design my own any suggestions?
Thanks!
Are you using File>Import SVG to bring them into SCAL? I just tested the teacher one and it worked fine. If you are definitely using this menu function to import the SVG file, can you tell me which one in particular is failing? And I’ll go test that same file. We’ll get to the bottom of this! 🙂
I also am having trouble loading them into scal, unzipped the svg’s, but won’t load them. Any suggestions?
Thank you. this is perfect timing!
Did you unzip the file after downloading? And then did you use File>Import SVG in SCAL to bring them into the program?
Hi there I use scal and I downloaded the svg files but when I opened them they all just said untitled in the top left corner and nothing else…I would LOVE to use your cupcake wrappers any ideas as to how I can? TIA
Thank you so much for all the cupcake wrappers..These are wonderful..
I will let Judy know what you said! She’s the best and I DO appreciate her sharing so generously.
I am absolutely blown away by the cupcake wrappers. Such hard work, patience and planning that when to the designs. And, to share it… awesome generosity! Take Care!
Thank you so much for this post. I want to let you know that I posted a link to your blog in Creative Busy Hands Cricut Freebies Search List, under the Graduation post on May. 01, 2010. Thanks again.
You’re welcome! We need to come up with something else like this now. 🙂
I’ve had such fun making the cupcake wrappers. Thanks to the advice and help from Sandy to get me started. Thank you, Sandy, for posting them where people can readily access them and for your continued support in my quest to learn more about my KNK Maxx. I couldn’t have done it without you. 🙂
You’re welcome! And I’ll make sure that Judy knows, too. : )
LOVE these wrappers – thank you (and to Judy, too)!
