If you are a collector of the Cuttlebug border embossing folders, then you are going to LOVE Judy’s latest project and free gift to all of you. She has created cutting files to be used in conjunction with Cuttlebug embossing folders to produce greeting cards with cut edges to follow the contours of the Cuttlebug embossed borders. The cards can be folded to either produce regular side opening or top/bottom opening cards OR center opening as shown below.
There is a PDF tutorial included to explain how to create the cards, photos of the embossing folders, and (of course) the cutting files themselves. All you need are your digital die cutter, Cuttlebug embossing folders, and a Cuttlebug (or machine that will press Cuttlebug folders).
To download, please select from the following three formats:
Judy’s Cuttlebug Embossing Borders in KNK Format
Judy’s Cuttlebug Embossing Borders in AI Format
Judy’s Cuttlebug Embossing Borders in SVG Format
Thank you, Judy, for your time and effort in creating these files for the Cuttlebug owners! And thank you, Kylee, for suggesting this idea to Judy.
SVG files are known to change size from one program to the next. What software are you using? Make The Cut has a DPI setting you change when you import an SVG so that it will import at the correct size. You will want to use 72 for this particular one.

I opened the svg and cut and it is too small for the shapes, I did not resize the file, do you have another svg file to scale? thank you I love the idea.
the SVG files will not open correctly, is there somewhere else to get working files?
Pretty nice article. I just stumbled upon your weblog and wished to say that I have really enjoyed browsing your website blogposts. After all I’ll be subscribing to your feed and I hope you write again very soon! mistrzostwa europy
Thanks so much! Actually, Chad Youngblut who develops web sites part time, created mine. I picked the coloring I wanted and gave him a few other wishlist items and then he built it for me. His pricing is VERY fair. So, if you decide to pay to have someone help you make yours look great, just email me privately and I’ll give you his email address.
Hi, really love the look of your blog. Would you mind telling me what theme you are using? I’m new to this and I’d like to get mine looking anywhere near as cool as yours. Thanks a lot.
Hi Nina,
The software is sold by Accugraphic at http://www.knkusa.com. Do you already own a cutter or do you plan to buy a Klic-N-Kut?
Thanks for sharing. I’m collecting all these ideas and sure hope I can make them “pretty as a picture”.

Thanks Sandy,
I made a couple of these and they turned out really cute. I gave them to a friend who will embellish and send out. Thanks Judy for all your work. Pam
No, but just like with the cupcake wrappers, you can use Inkscape to open these, save as DXF files and then load into RoboMaster.
Think about getting KNK Studio GE. Not only will you be able to then open KNK files, but the cutting will be MUCH faster and smoother than if you are cutting these kinds of files from RoboMaster. 🙂
Do you have it in GSD?
